Esta semana Mike Perry se vio envuelto en la polémica al retar al actor de 52 años Michael Jai White.
Luego de que el actor respondiera al reto de Perry, Mike insistió con hacer una pelea, e incluso pidió el apoyo de Dana White.

Encendido por la burla de White respecto a su clasificación en el ranking de UFC, ‘Platinum’ cuestionó el nivel de Michael.

De manera cortés y ya sin responder a Mike, White intentó aclarar que nunca le faltó al respeto a Kimbo.

Momentos después, un tuitero señaló la diferencia entre un peleador profesional y un artista marcial. White estuvo de acuerdo y reiteró que para él se trata de una forma de vida.

Perry reprobó la postura de White y lanzó una crítica usando un término controversial. A partir de ese momento, le llovieron las acusaciones de racismo.
