Israel KO Robert

Israel Adesanya proved worthy of becoming the undisputed middleweight champion of the UFC. ‘The Last Stylebender’ knocked out Robert Whittaker in Melbourne in the second round.

In front of a crowd of 57,000 thousand people at the Marvel Stadium, Israel silenced everyone who said he didn’t have KO power. ‘The Last Stylebender’ landed a perfect left hand to Whittaker’s chin in the second round and put an end to the fight.

At the start of the fight it was Whittaker who looked more comfortable and accurate. However it didn’t take long for Adesanya to start landing and even the round. A few seconds before the end of the first, a perfect right hand landed clean on Robert’s chin. He was knocked down, and just as Israel was going in for the kill, the buzzer saved the champion.

Whittaker looked lost during the break but came out swinging in the second. He even landed a head kick that boosted his confidence. Unfortunately for him in a following exchange Adesanya put an end to the fight with a fantastic 1-2.
