Once upon a time, when the UFC was still a developing company focused on making great fights for the sake of the fans before trying to make great money for their own pockets, the fighters used to have the privilege of choosing their own walkout t-shirts.

Since the company signed the new sponsorship deal with Reebok, the athletes have only been allowed to wear Reebok apparel in the cage, walking to the cage and at every media event during fight week. Today we honor that once beloved tradition with a small selection of some of the most memorable walkout shirts in the history of the promotion.

Brands like Headrush, Bad Boy, Affliction, Metal Mulisha, Dethrone and Punishment have disappeared from the cage and from every official UFC expo or event, but not from our hearts. That is the one place Dana White can’t ban them from. Without further delay, let’s check some of the shirts:
