It’s not a secret that there’s no love lost between current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones. The two fighters have taken every opportunity they ever had to talk some smack about one another. After Friday’s controversy during the early weigh ins, you could be sure Jon ‘Bones’ Jones was going to have something to say about it.
“I watched the guy, like if you focus on his hands you can see him looking down and like, balancing off his weight just right to make 205. It’s… what a clever trick! Pretty dishonest of him. The crazy thing is that it was allowed to happen. I mean… I would have imagined there was some type of commission or something to go back and see this blatant foul play and address it. No one’s addressed it. He just completely got away with it, doing one of the dirtiest things I’ve seen in sports.”
