Women’s MMA has evolved a lot since it first began. Every day we see more complete and well-rounded fighters make their way to the cage. There are many options to choose from and many names to consider when compiling a list of this type. In the end, it all comes down to opinion and personal preference. It would be very easy to make cases for fighters like Valentina Shevchenko and her marvelous Muay Thai, Julianna Pena and her dominant ground and pound, Paige VanZant and her flashy style, or the champion Amanda Nunes and her seemingly improved striking. The reality is that women’s MMA is full of talent.
